Arctic – AI Support & Hydration Store
AI-powered support and e‑commerce app for “smart hydration” gear, with a custom tool-runner that lets an agent answer questions, track orders, and recommend products from first principles.

Quest Log
My work experience and previous guild affiliations.
- ❖Prototyped and shipped 5+ full‑stack products end‑to‑end — from system design and data modeling to CI/CD pipelines, observability, and real‑user feedback loops.
- ❖Engineered a simulated crypto CFD trading engine as an event‑driven microservices system wired through Redis Streams and MongoDB snapshots, so trades replay deterministically, positions survive restarts, and the matching path stays low‑latency under load.
- ❖Architected an AI RAG knowledge workspace with a worker‑based ingestion pipeline over Redis Streams, KEDA autoscaling on stream lag, co‑located self‑hosted Whisper VMs per worker, and embeddings stored in PostgreSQL/pgvector — cutting third‑party transcription costs to zero.
- ❖Built a real‑time collaborative whiteboard with a custom Canvas rendering loop, WebSocket room server, delta‑sync protocol, and command‑log undo/redo maintaining smooth 60 FPS multi‑user drawing.
- ❖Designed a sandboxed code execution engine with containerized isolation, enforced time/memory limits, and a job‑queue orchestrator powering AI code‑interpreter workflows safely at scale.
- ❖Built a custom TypeScript tool‑calling runner (zero frameworks) that executes domain tools — DB queries, clarification prompts — against live store data, enabling L1 support deflection and data‑aware AI responses embedded directly in storefronts.
- ❖Took TripAbhi from zero to a working MVP in about 3 months, owning the organizer dashboard, data model, and deployment pipeline.
- ❖Designed a Trip Template + Trip Cohorts data model that lets organizers manage dozens of departures, prices, and occupancies per template without duplicating data.
- ❖Built a custom database abstraction layer over Firebase/Firestore (no ORM available) to enforce ACID‑like transactional guarantees and robust data validation on a NoSQL store.
- ❖Implemented lead capture, booking, and payment flows that replaced manual spreadsheets and prepared the product for Razorpay and WhatsApp notification integration.
- ❖Built a reusable component library in Next.js + Tailwind so new dashboard views can be added in hours instead of days.
- ❖Worked directly with the founders to turn fuzzy travel workflows into concrete UI flows, validation rules, and a clear backlog.
- ❖Joined at idea stage to help the founders ship their first public website in a few weeks, moving from Figma‑level ideas to a live, deployable build.
- ❖Designed and implemented the initial marketing and product pages from scratch, improving Lighthouse performance scores and first‑load times.
- ❖Set up a composable component system (hero, feature rows, FAQ, CTA) so new pages and A/B tests can be created by recomposing existing blocks instead of rebuilding layouts.
- ❖Added analytics instrumentation and env‑based config so future experiments and rollouts are safer and easy to revert.
- ❖Acted as the sole full‑stack maintainer for several months, owning roadmap execution, bug fixes, and releases across POS, web, and mobile surfaces.
- ❖Designed and shipped a POS appointment module integrated with Google Calendar API that cut manual booking overhead and directly helped onboard 5 new business clients to the platform.
- ❖Extended the React + Django REST stack with Tinybird analytics dashboards and hardened API endpoints so ops and business teams could track daily sales and branch performance without engineering help.
- ❖Iterated on POS flows based on merchant feedback, fixing edge cases and reducing support ticket volume around bookings and payments.

Side Quests
Hackathons, creative hobbies, and other fun detours.
Started an IoT self‑driving car project that used accelerometer input as the primary control surface, treating phone motion as the steering wheel.
Co‑founded my college’s IoT Club and served as Vice President, running sessions on microcontrollers, sensor basics, and teaching students how to simulate hardware projects using Wokwi.
Built a C++ rehab game that tracks a user’s face and turns guided neck/back movements into gameplay, then wrote a research paper on using this approach for exercise and rehabilitation.
Served as a Coding Hero mentor, delivering a session on DSA strategy—how to approach problems, pick the right resources, and avoid getting overwhelmed while learning.
Quest Rewards
Certifications, awards, and milestones achieved along the journey.

Secured an All India Rank of 2,852 out of 39,210 candidates in the GATE exam under the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) paper.
Won $200 in the 100xDevs CTF, spinning up 35 VMs to brute‑force a hardened API and capture the final flag.
Awarded ₹3,000 by Hitesh Choudhary (Chai & Code) for delivering the most‑attended DSA strategy session, sharing how to approach DSA without getting overwhelmed.
